Bluegrass Barrels will quickly dispel the myth that aging spirits should be left to professionals. YOU can take an existing spirit and make it completely your own creation. The smaller Bluegrass Barrels, which range in size from 1 liter (grapefruit size) to 3 liters (watermelon size) provide more oak area to the liquor, allowing the spirit to age significantly faster than the larger distillery barrel. YOU control the aging as the barrel infuses the spirit with the oak flavor that is unique to your taste, and unlike anything that can be bought on the market.

Official NCAA Licensed Barrels

We at Bluegrass Barrels are very excited to announce that we have formally been approved to sell the University of Louisville, University of Kentucky and Western Kentucky logo barrels! See the pictures above for examples of how the barrels will look! We think they look AWESOME! The only catch is that the engraving cost is more than normal to help offset the royalty for each school, so engraving is $14, instead of the normal $7. So if you want a barrel with one of these logos, please note the logo you want in the engraving details when you are placing your order. We will have to send you a separate Paypal invoice for the additional $7 for the NCAA engraving royalty after you place the order.

Also, after a year of the in state “trial”, I will apply for all of the other big dog NCAA schools, so be patient! Sorry, NCAA rules!
